The Gais project, on which I work, has found stars that probably formed black holes; certain kinds of supernovae do that, and we find a lot of supernovae. They had probably only just formed the holes – within a few days of us seeing them (plus some years of light-travel time).

We have no idea whether any of these black holes formed wormholes to anywhere else. We have no way to see that.
